"Painters and poets have always had the right to dare everything (Horace)
Aurélia was born in Paris in 1978. Her professional career began with more than 20 years in internationalyears in international development for technology companies, in France, UK and India. But she has always loved to create, to play with materials without it being compatible with her professional and family life. It is during an exhibition in Paris on contemporary art and after many readings on resin that she decided to launch, a year ago, in the creation of characters inspired by her childhood and the artistic culture of the 80's (series, movies, animations...)
Aurélia carries out a long work of preparation before realizing her works. She takes time to choose the colors, the characters. Resin is a demanding material that requires long drying times between each step. The temperature does not make the material react the same way, the result is both unique and surprising. She also uses glittering inks and powders to give life to the characters. The bright and cheerful colors of her paintings are indicative of her childlike and deeply positive character. His inspirations are contemporary artists whose work is also very colorful (Jeff Koons, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Takashi Murakami ...). Getting emotion from the public is his goal, as well as letting his creativity run free without constraint.
