Elika DESSAPT was born into a family of artists so art was a natural calling. She was actually taught the basics in painting by her artist father, Guy DESSAPT. She did consider becoming a vet for a while until an apprenticeship made her realise it wasn't the right job for her. She returned to her first love: art. She'd loved manga since she was little and produced digital mini comic strips that she posted on platforms and websites alongside her painting.
