Scheufler's technique is mixed, using pencils and pastels, watercolours, paints, photographs or metal engraving. He particularly admires the works of artists Manabu Mabe (1924-1997), Joan Miró (1893-1983), Vassily Kandinsky (1866-1944), Paul Klee (1879-1940), Antoni Tàpies (1923-2012) and Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) among others, Scheufler creates powerfully coloured abstract paintings, mixing assembling and collages. Born from his imagination, his thoughts and his readings, the compositions of this Brazilian painter are created through an accumulation of pictorial layers, combined with a spontaneous insertion of formal elements. Once combined, they form a visually airy, dynamic and harmonious whole. This approach gives rise to an infinite number of possibilities for interpreting the work, some details of which only strike its viewers after a meticulous inspection of every overlap.\n
