Coming from a family of artists, Elisabeth's passion since childhood has been for painting. In some of her earliest art, she used charcoal and blood-red colours but her preferred media was yet to be discovered. At the age of 18 Elisabeth bought her first box of watercolours and it opened her eyes. Even today this is the medium she chooses to express herself as an artist. "I love the transparency that watercolours create," says Elisabeth, "and I have always remained faithful to them as a media. They allow me to perfectly capture my subjects: the navy in Bassin d'Arcachon, nets in the Garonne, vine-covered slopes in St Emilion, urban scenes in Bordeaux…".
