Originally from South Korea, since a very young age Haelyn has been interested in the creative arts and, in particular, in the practice of painting. Leaving aside her artistic ardour, the Korean education system channelled her into following an advanced course in geology. It was only when she emigrated to the USA for family reasons that Haelyn decided to re-dedicate herself to her childhood passion. To this end she took various instruction at the universities of Hawaii and Portland, giving her knowledge and skill. Nowadays she has settled in Portland with her family, so the artist works with perspicacity and devotion on the development of her production of pictures
