Nature remains an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Patricia. It is by questioning and observing the earth in all its forms, mainly in the vegetable and mineral, that ideas are born and take shape. With humility, she tries to capture the spirit of the material by observing it meticulously. The precipitous departure of a dragonfly, the beating of its wings in movement, the slow observation of a rock in its most infinite details offers her many poetic variations. To better represent this universe, she surveys it, observes it (notebooks), occasionally collects, studies it (cellular biology), reads (poetry, writings). She also photographs it, fascinated by this world in perpetual change, always on the move. She finds there the human faults and strengths. All this, she says, constitutes a necessary humus for her creation. \After a literary baccalaureate and a BTS in visual expression in Marseille, she settled in the east of France in the middle of the deep forests of the Vosges in a universe where she can best express her creation. Research remains the main thread of her work. She makes her own materials from natural components: clay with added binders such as casein (milk powder) or acacia gum, egg yolk, walnut stain, paper collage, plants harvested then dried. Objective: to find life in these dead materials. "By creating, I have the feeling that they exist body and soul" explains the artist. The paint bringing, according to the mood of the moment, opacity or transparency. The surrealist painter Fred Deux and the contemporary artist Fabienne Verdier, who tends towards abstraction, have inspired him as well as the Austrian architect and painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000) who also showed a great love of nature.
