Liisa enjoys walking in nature where she makes watercolors, sketches and photos. These various supports are the starting point for the elaboration of his paintings.
Of Finnish origin, it is at 25 years that Liisa discovers Provence and its hinterland. Very quickly, she became passionate about Provençal painting and hot colors worked with a knife. After a period of research, Liisa Corbière concentrates all her influences in a personal writing. The choice to paint in the studio, apart from the questions of practicality, allows him to stylize his composition and to move away from a too descriptive painting. The artist prefers to take liberties of interpretation and give free rein to his impressions.
