ABOUT
Jérémie Angura has been a gallery owner in Toulouse for more than 7 years.
The aspect he really loves about his job is that he constantly gets the chance to meet new people, whether they are artists, art enthusiasts or simply people looking for their favorite work.
This passion for contemporary art comes from his parents who never ceased to cultivate his artistic curiosity and open-mindedness right since his childhood. He is mostly touched by the semi-abstract style. All it takes is a touch of madness, a dash of poetry and a lot of colors to get one’s imagination going!

INTERVIEW
How long have you been part of the Carré d'artistes adventure?
I have been part of the adventure for 7 years!
What do you like best about your work? Where does this passion for art come from?
What I like best is to meet new people (artists, clients) all the time. This passion comes from my parents who have always cultivated my artistic curiosity and my open-mindedness.
Which style touches you particularly, why? What does it provoke in you?
I really like the semi-abstract style or how to set our imagination in motion with a few shapes!
Is there an artist you would like us to discover?
Kare Hale for her unique abstract painting. A mixture of softness and lightness, a breath of fresh air at the moment!
Four years ago Geiry came to the gallery and explained that she was a hairdresser but a former student of fine arts. We then discovered her universe based on calaveras, decorated skulls emblematic of the "Day of the Dead" and of Mexican culture, and it was love at first sight!
The Art Department followed us 200% and the exhibition started... Immediate success: sales all over the world, an artist who discovers herself, gains confidence and goes beyond her limits. Today in a gallery in Lyon and to be discovered on our website. An unforgettable artistic human adventure!
What does your work consist of?
My work consists of bringing together an individual and a work of art. Guaranteed effect!
If you had to describe Carré d'artistes in three words, what would you choose?
Curiosity, pleasure, discovery.
Small format or large format? Why would you choose this?
5 Small format because the artist must go to the essential. No fuss, no frills, just emotion!
Why do you think art is important?
Art is important because it allows you to "get out of the real world", or to see the world from another angle.
