Blouin Elodie | Contemporary Artist: Artworks & Biography

Elodie BLOUIN was always drawn to models and drawing as a child so it's only natural that her studies led her to landscaping and urban planning. She learnt all kinds of modelling and plastic art techniques so she could train in an industry she loved. However, she wanted to pay the bills and have a family so Elodie plodded through different jobs outside the art sector. Sad circumstances saw her return to art in 2015. After one of her two children was diagnosed with a neurodevelopmental disorder, Elodie stopped working to become a full-time carer. She was forced to stay at home so she seized the opportunity to spend her free time creating. It was more than a professional project; it was an escape. Elodie set up her own small business and launched the Bicoques En Catimini brand.
