Born in Toulouse in 1990, Sara Bagot turns into Me. It is at the edge of the sunny beaches that the artist, without any artifice, creates her paintings. It is only in 2016 that she really starts to paint and share her creations. While managing a real estate agency, art becomes for her a therapy and a way to evacuate stress and anxiety. She painted in her free time, at night and during her breaks, until a friend encouraged her to show her work. This is how Moi. realized her first exhibition. Since then, she multiplies collaborations and exhibitions. It is today in Andorra, rocked by the silence of the mountains, that she holds her workshop.
Inspired by the work of David Hockney, but also by the immensity of the beaches, their colors, the Mediterranean architecture and his travels, the painter uses acrylic on canvas, on canvas board but also on paper. Sometimes abstract, sometimes figurative, her work is an invitation to travel and escape. Passionate about architecture, Moi. represents many villas and pools, with raw forms and pure lines that she masters to perfection. With pastel colors, she restores the sweetness of life with a touch of boldness and second degree. On the back of a motorcycle helmet, in a pocket, on a coffee table, each support allows her to convey a message of love, peace and sweetness.
