Trevisan Carlo
Trevisan Carlo Italy
Trevisan was born in Cesena (Italy). He grew up first in Viareggio (Tuscany) and then in Sansepolcro (Arezzo), the birthplace of Piero della Francesca, living an atmosphere still immersed in that medieval and Renaissance world.
In 1990 Trevisan began to paint, discovering a new world that manages to best express his sensitive, creative and introspective personality. It is the beginning of a new road towards creativity and art.
His artistic training begins with a close friendship with the painter Serafino Beconi in Viareggio. He is editor and then secretary of the Versilia magazine of art and culture SINOPIA. He is part of the Versilia MAV Artistic Movement and of the multimedia experimental laboratory IL TEATRO DEI BISOGNI COSTANTI (poetry-visual arts-historical research). He was part of the Catholic Union of Italian Artists U.C.A.I.
Since 2000, abandoning every current and association, he began his personal artistic career, living between Tuscany and Verona (Italy).
Since 2001 he has collaborated with some art galleries in Italy (Verona, Como, Treviso, La Spezia, Reggio Emilia, Milan) and participates in important national art fairs.
In 2009 he was among the winners of the KINDER ART competition, organized by Ferrero, and exhibited the winning work at the Triennale Bovisa in Milan (Electa catalog) and then at the Ferrera Foundation in Alba.
In 2012 he was awarded a 1st prize and twice with a 2nd prize in 3 national painting competitions.
In 2012 he was selected by Carrè d'artistes and exhibited to this day in various cities around the world starting with Montmarte in Paris.
In May 2016 he presented his graphic novel "The Adventures of Luca Bellintani: The little girl running without noise" text by Riccardo Mazzoni and watercolor drawings by Trevisan at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Viareggio.
He has collaborated with international galleries in London and the United States.
