"There are flowers everywhere for anyone who wants to see them." H.Matisse
A French visual artist born in Normandy, I studied at ESAAA and Bellecour Ecole. Before devoting myself entirely to creation, I ran art workshops. Moving to New Caledonia in 2009, I trained in Pacific arts at the Nouméa Museum.
Since 2013, I've been working with mixed media, printing, photography and collage, mixing recycled materials such as wood, paper and fabric with academic techniques such as ink, dry pastel and acrylic.

My works reflect a desire to capture the expressive behaviors that flow from our emotions during human activities, whether private or social. I don't want to talk about portraits, just silhouettes - ephemeral, timeless and universal - that live out their lives in small, colorful heterotopias.
The choice of mixing and upcycling is an integral part of my approach. In this way, I can diversify and personalize my artistic approach. My creations are richer, more alive, charged with the history that the little bits of material convey. Natural and recycled materials are mixed with traditional techniques such as paint, ink and dry pastel.
I superimpose, assemble and glue on canvas wood, paper, scraps of old books and writings, marquetry wood, straw... I trace, scratch, tear, paint and draw.
