"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who
dream only by night"
Self-taught Philippe Euger made his first foray into art when he reached adulthood.
He devoted himself to modern figurative painting inspired by Normandy where he grew up. His first solo and group exhibitions were in the 90s.
The 2010s have seen the artist move into a new style that he's constantly exploring.
His pieces now bring together vintage posters, adverts and graffiti with elements of pop culture
and icons from the worlds of music, cinema and advertising.
His vibrant canvases also include letters, words and typography and sometimes feature the symbolic depiction of an animal, person or item.
