The original and unique piece 29 is a work by the artist Franck Hébert, who creates polychrome marines, capturing the tempest nature of the sea. His use of oil paint, skillfully applied on by knife, results in a surface of a bright and shimmering aspect.
Franck Hébert has adopted painting as his main means of expression since the beginning of the 90s, after playing and teaching guitar for many years. An avid learner, he attended the Fine Arts School of Caen and spent time with many painters in the region, which has offered great diversity to his work. Over the years, his main subject has remained light, which he captures in its shattered form or breaks down into swift movements. He was first inspired by the Impressionists and then developed his own style under the influence of English painters…
