After 20 years spent capturing the world through the lens, she naturally turned to painting, where she explores matter and contrasts with a unique sensitivity. Her works, marked by a balance between fluidity and structure, invite the viewer on a visual journey imbued with serenity and depth.

Florence Autelin's paintings express the soul of the traveler she once was. Inspired by wild landscapes and architecture, she creates paintings where ocean, mountains and nature meet in a visual harmony with seventies accents. Working mainly in acrylic, she layers, scrapes, mixes and shapes the material to find the perfect balance between softness and strength.
