Art is a space in which the infinite creativity of our reality lives on.

Originally from Rostov-on-Don in Russia, Margarita is a talented contemporary painter with a complex and intriguing style. With a degree in architecture, she worked in this field for almost ten years. Gradually, her lifelong love of painting developed and took hold, first as a passion, then as a vocation. In 2019, her artistic activity took over and became her one and only profession. Since then, Margarita has been taking part in exhibitions, fairs and competitions. Her work also graces the walls of private collections around the world.

By observing her environment and human nature, Margarita depicts her artistic journey between reality and our perception of it. She appropriates the concepts of metamodernism to poetically and sensitively combine figurative style with metaphorical painting. Her characters roam the canvas, oscillating between the real and the imaginary, the explicit and the implicit, beyond dimensions, reason and dreams. Her paintings play with our thoughts, inviting us to doubt everything we see, the better to accept and apprehend it. The artist also likes to experiment, using both oil and acrylic paint, as well as watercolour pencils and many other materials. In her art, Margarita explores life as a boundary between worlds and feelings.
