Tikhonova Svetlana | Artista contemporáneo: Obras & Biografía

As a teenager, Svetlana was introduced to the knowledge and practice of art in the studio of the Belarusian artist-professor M. S. Tolmachev. A few years later, she perfected her learning by following a course dedicated to design and decoration at the State University of her native city. At the end of this training, Svetlana chose not to launch herself immediately into creation, but to nourish her mind and her imagination in order to enrich her pictorial vocabulary. Thus, during her many travels and encounters - from Japan to Spain, through Russia, Poland or Italy - the young artist discovers, collects and gathers stories and legends that will later form the fertile ground from which she will draw her inspiration.Interested in the diversity of emotions that an individual can feel throughout his life, Svetlana decides to go back to painting in August 2015 with the intention of materializing the countless facets of these psychological behaviors so particular. To do this, she uses her oil paints to work the thicknesses and entanglements, and thus strengthen the materiality from strongly contrasting tonesMystical Realism", as expressed by its author, lies in its passionate execution, devoted to improvisation. In order not to lose anything of this deep and fleeting feeling that she tends to represent, Svetlana works with exaltation and speed on her support, without preliminary sketch.
