I seek to capture all of my emotions on canvas thanks to the primacy of rhythm and harmony of colours.

Aficionado al deporte, Thierry inició una carrera de alto nivel, especializándose en el ultramaratón (carrera de larga distancia). En 1995, sediento de retos y aventuras, atravesó en solitario una parte del Sáhara Occidental (Marruecos y Argelia). Este acontecimiento le marcaría para siempre, ya que la prueba pronto se convirtió en una búsqueda introspectiva y artística. De vuelta a Francia, empezó a crear mediante la talla de madera, pero rápidamente cambió a la pintura figurativa. Su entorno le animó a encontrar su voz a través de la abstracción. Las obras de Thierry son vigorizantes y embriagadoras, con una vitalidad estimulante. Ignorando las referencias al realismo, construye obras impulsivas y explosivas de entusiasmo. El ritmo del color impone su propia razón, dejando que la libertad expresiva gobierne la composición. No hay más prerrogativa que la de la armonía.

Self-taught, Thierry, works acrylics with a knife. This technique allows him to work through touches and re-touches. Much as in his marathons, Thierry paints a canvas with the same fighting spirit and the same personal research. His painting is held within the movement of lyrical abstraction (pure and free expression). Thierry invents a melody that gives free rein to individual interpretation. Aside from reality, he offers a colourful imaginary world that the viewer can populate with their own visions and feelings. Thierry's works are full of movement, passion and colour. Thierry is an artist apart in the contemporary cultural landscape. He manages to absolve himself of any influence, to allow his intimate and visceral impulses to speak, releasing positive and disturbing sensations.
