Boby has loved to draw since he was a child and he is never far from his pencils. He practises all the time and uses all sorts of media. After completing a specialised training in graphic communication in the Île-de-France region, the young man began his career as an illustrator and graphic designer for various clients, including the cultural magazine Télérama. In 2013, following an accident that forced him to spend a long time in hospital, Boby developed his art project entitled Color Your Life.

The artist places his love of life at the heart of his approach and works on creating unashamedly flashy acrylic pieces, with the aim of communicating to others a little of the natural enthusiasm that has always inspired him. He generally works on canvas or wood, and sometimes incorporates materials such as fabric or a tree branch. Using these materials, Boby endeavours to reinterpret subjects that city dwellers may not know because of the clear separation between the natural environment and urban space, particularly through his favourite subject, animals. Amphibians, reptiles, primates and other species that can only be seen in zoos or faraway places are therefore highlighted here, under a pop aesthetic which is freely inspired by street art.

Over the years and through his many projects and encounters, the young artist has patiently built a unique artistic identity, which is characterised by an energy that could be described as both vitalist and militant, echoing his own approach.
