Karl Bronk’s fascination with fine arts blossomed when he lived as a young man in France and New York, where the Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) and other museums and art galleries offered him a unique opportunity to study classical and contemporary paintings of some of the greatest artists across Paris and Manhattan. The discovery of their talents for reproducing and modifying the visual world with touches of oil paint has allowed him to start his own artistic adventure of fine art painting, which lead him to art school. After graduating from the School of Fine Arts at the Salem University and the Montserrat College of Visual Arts, he embarked on a career as an illustrator and artistic director for various advertising agencies in Boston. He worked there for numerous clients: the luxury hotel company Marriott, the fast food restaurant chain Burger King, the Bausch & Lomb society of ophthalmology, and many more. The continuation of his career has been through galleries through his production of oil paintings that have regularly received awards at many competitions and artist exhibitions. After leaving the trade and advertising industry, he devotes all his energy to painting in his studio to continue his search for style and content which express, in a unique way, his very personal interpretation of the world around him.
