Born in the Argentinean capital into a family with European and American cultural heritage, Silvina grew up in a fertile artistic environment, which allowed her to fully devote herself to her passion for drawing. Nourished throughout his childhood by his desires and imagination, his practice has essentially developed instinctively. Also, as a teenager, Silvina decides to clarify her actions by acquiring technical and stylistic knowledge from talented teachers.
Member of the Association of Friends of the Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, Silvina regularly exhibits his mixed techniques, made from acrylic, pastels, pencils, coal or asphalt. An exclusively figurative painter, his approach is entirely devoted to exploring the characteristics that define every human being: his sensitivity, his experience, his sensuality. Through the study of these revealers of personality, Silvina imagines and composes the harmonious and profound portrait of an individuality, of which she wishes to immortalize the vitality and the spirit by means of her brushes. Very attached to the practice of drawing, the artist paints each of his paintings as the association of a multitude of independent drawings, which, once assembled, form a homogeneous and coherent whole. Then, she takes the time to patiently enrich her support with an intense palette of colors, seeking to continually perfect the expression of her character.
Doubly inspired by the expressive line that emanates from the works of Gustave Klimt (1862-1918) and the color scheme orchestrated by Friedrich Hundertwasser (1928-2000), the practice of Silvina, in the manner of Gepetto, tends towards the impossible. Realization of a dream, that of giving life to one's subjects.
