Marjoline Fleur

There are many themes that inspire her: her children, nature within the woodland scene, trees, foliage, animals, old quaint houses, passing seasons and colour combinations.

Claiming ties with the phantasmagorical world of customs officer Rousseau, she has painted since she was 15 years old, but has really gotten into it since she discovered watercolour 6 years ago.

Coloured pencils and collages add the finishing touch to her work, in order to depict a deliberately childish and colourful universe:

“I particularly like the illustration of youth and tell stories in my paintings.”
