In his native Normandy, Geiry grew up in a family of cabinet-makers and was soon destined for manual trades. Later, at the age of eleven, a passionate drawing teacher awakened her curiosity and creativity by introducing her to the arts and painting. After becoming a professional hairdresser, she pursued her passion as a self-taught artist, exploring the world of photography, tattooing and body painting. Now based in the South of France, Geiry continues to perfect her style, with vibrant, colorful portraits and natural settings.

A sensitive, humble and passionate artist, Geiry's portraits depict her love of nature and freedom. With her vivid, luminous and exotic hues, her style infuses her subjects with character and dynamism. To give relief to her paintings, the artist prepares her own products based on acrylic, marble powder and other pigments. To refine her effects, she then works the material in juxtapositions using brushes, knives and her fingers. She draws her inspiration from classical painters such as Henri Rousseau, Frida Kahlo and Salvador Dali, as well as great naturalist photographers like JC Lemay and Vincent Munier. Through her canvases, with their thousand nuances of hue and emotion, Geiry makes us dream and travel to the four corners of the globe. She also reminds us how beautiful our planet is, and how urgent it is to protect it.
