Things are not what they seem.
Morgan Bisoux is a Belgian hyperrealist visual artist.
Her work was revealed to the general public in 2021 at the Prix artistique de la Ville d'Antoing, and exhibited by RenewArt Gallery from 2022.
Since then, she has held a number of solo and group exhibitions, asserting a coherent and committed artistic presence, supported on several occasions by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
In 2025, she gained international recognition with her participation in the Lille Art Up fair, where she was awarded the Prix Révélation.
Morgan Bisoux is a young emerging painter who evolves in a work of research and production around duality, cognitive dissonance and the concept of packaging. "Things are not what they seem" whisper her paintings accomplished with the utmost precision and hyperrealism. Working with a brush with remarkable mastery, Morgan Bisoux holds this will to make the gesture almost imperceptible and thus compete with the invasive technology of our era. Fascinated by the idea of folds and reflective materials, she combines these elements in her compositions, representing aluminum foil, crumpled gold paper, and golden drink containers.
