Since childhood, Corinne Halimi, a self-taught painter and sculptor with autism spectrum disorder, has never stopped interpreting and creating a language through painting, sculpture and writing. Giving meaning to her creations takes the dullness out of the equation, exalting her temperament and developing her thirst for discovery and intellectual and human adventure. Passionate about history, she interprets major events, illustrious figures and their symbolism, her way of inhabiting human feelings. Louis XIV, A. Dumas, Marie-Antoinette, Saint Exupéry, writers, rock stars and more.
The sculptures entitled "Petites danseuses au tulle blanc ou rose" (Little dancers in white or pink tulle) are born of this quest to signify beauty, love and the fragrance of a loved one.
Custom orders are possible, especially for paintings on musical instruments: guitar, violin, ukulele, etc. But also paintings on canvas or other materials.
