I could sum up my practice with the sentence "There are as many colors as there are individuals".
SANNIER is a French painter with an unconventional background, deeply connected to the landscapes that have shaped his life. From the Picardy Coast to the Bay of Somme, his works depict wild, luminous nature, inspired by his memories and travels. Seascapes, ponds, countryside and distant horizons become suspended moments filled with calm and emotion. Through his paintings, SANNIER shares his enduring sense of wonder at the beauty of the world.
Since childhood, SANNIER has drawn inspiration from his discoveries, travels and the landscapes that move him. The Bay of Somme holds a central place in his work: the boats of Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme, the ponds of Mareuil-Caubert, the banks of the Somme and the surrounding countryside. His gaze also travels towards lavender fields and the olive trees of Greece. In his studio, early in the morning or late in the evening, he paints in oils, bringing his memories to life. Light, seasons and the changing face of nature transform each landscape into a special moment. His works invite viewers to contemplate places where time seems to slow down, blending travel memories, serenity and emotion.
