I find that every gesture, whether discreet or marked, transforms a raw material into something precious and meaningful.
Trained as an architect, since 2021 Nassim Komjan has been developing a sensitive artistic practice centered on matter and space. Inspired by architectural models, she transforms raw materials into refined, poetic works. Her work, a cross between art and architecture, reveals the beauty of simple forms, the strength of detail and the emotion of gesture.
Nassim Komjan draws his inspiration from architecture and minimalism, influenced by figures such as Fernand Pouillon, Le Corbusier, Rietveld and Mondrian. Her works emerge from a subtle interplay of volumes, colors and textures. Experimenting with different materials, she explores the poetry of gesture and the materiality of everyday life. Each piece is a reinterpretation of an architectural fragment, conceived as an invitation to look differently at what surrounds us. Through her compositions, she reveals the sensory richness of the ordinary and offers an emotional reading of shapes and spaces.
