An artist must never worry about pleasing. He must express his freedom - Marc Chagall
Artist, designer and musician Pauline Dutel sees creation as a universal language. Her practice, rooted in emotion and instinct, explores freedom of expression through color. Convinced that art should be accessible to all, she also works with children in schools and cultural environments. Her luminous, committed works blend popular culture and spontaneity with communicative sincerity.
Pauline Dutel creates her work on black smoked plexiglass, playing with light and transparency. She combines Posca, pastels and BIC pens to create vibrant compositions that combine sharp lines, textures and meticulous detail. Her influences range from Inès Longevial to the Impressionists and the eccentric world of Rammellzee. Far from a fixed art form, her instinctive, contemporary approach defends a creative freedom open to all, where color becomes an emotional language.
