Imperfection is the perfection.
Puce hails from the South of France and grew up in Salon de Provence. His mother was an artist too so he grew up surrounded by art and design. The school curriculum didn't allow him to express himself so he enrolled at art school so he could spread his wings when he was a teenager. After his studies, Puce decided to go travelling to sate his appetite for creation and new horizons. His time travelling was a way to reconnect with himself and reach out to the world.
Puce comes from the generation affected by huge changes in access to knowledge, the digital revolution, the world wide web and its network of information and people. So he draws inspiration from icons, faces and milestone moments. Graphic art and art movements from the 80s and 90s influence his work. His pieces often depict icons from 80s and 90s film, music and pop culture. His work features colours and fonts from the decades to bring his colourful pieces to life with their street art inspiration, subjects and signatures.
