Live in harmony with the wonders that surround us. Appreciate, listen, contemplate. It's not enough to be alive, you have to be alive!\n
SEB is a plastic artist from Meaux who has had a passion for art since he was a little boy. He set up his first studio in an old granary on the family farm when he was 12. It was only natural that when it came to choosing a career, the young man couldn't imagine life without art. He enrolled at a graphic art school, explored the museums in Paris and soaked up all the trendy art movements in the 80s. Séb graduated and became a graphic designer. The artist was steeped in the marketing industry and let his imagination run wild. The painting and sculpture enthusiast carried on painting and produced countless pieces that he had exhibited.
As a street art fan, Seb spent quality time with the likes of Sirius 156, Moze, Popay and Futura 2000. His biggest influence is the American graffiti artist Jonone and his energetic art. Seb is influenced by a whole host of artists from Jean-Michel Basquiat and Robert Combas to Antoni Tapiés, Miquel Barcelo and Richard Texier. Acrylic, spray paint, oil paint, pastel, collage and clay may form the building blocks of his work but he also incorporates sea debris into his pieces. The artist has been working on a series of lively imaginary characters inspired by his encounters with Amazonian tribes since 2016.\n
