Nacido en 1964, Alfredo López es un artista de origen boliviano que creció en España antes de trasladarse a París. Hoy vive y trabaja cerca de Chartres. Su carrera artística comenzó en una época despreocupada, con vocación de libertad y sinceridad. Después de trabajar en publicidad durante quince años, se dedicó de lleno a la pintura. Sus obras, caracterizadas por colores vivos y personajes centrales, son narraciones de la vida cotidiana, que traducen su sensibilidad neo-punk y benévola.

Alfredo Lopez draws his inspiration from the simple moments of everyday life, which he transcribes with vivid colors and imposing figures. His meticulously constructed works are allegories of joy and good humor. Influenced by music, from Peggy Lee to Poly Styrene, Alfredo prefers to remain sincere rather than follow commercial trends. He mixes matte and gloss to bring his paintings to life. His creations are windows onto our daily lives, revealing the beauty of insignificant acts performed with happiness. Alfredo's message is to enjoy life, because there will always be something left of it.
