Licenciada en Ciencias Económicas y Financieras, Armelle ejerció durante 10 años como jefa de producción. Pero tras un encuentro con la pintura impresionista descubrió su vocación de pintora. Artista apasionada y trabajadora, se dedica a esta actividad con entusiasmo y profesionalidad. Fue autodidacta, siguió las directrices de varios expertos y visitó regularmente museos para aprender y desarrollar sus habilidades. Instaló su taller en la región de Herault, entre viñedos y matorrales, en su casa familiar de St. Bauzille. La artista desea transmitir un mensaje de paz, serenidad y espiritualidad; un estado de ánimo que Armelle extrae del Herault, una región mágica de paisajes, en su opinión, perfectos. Los profesionales descubren rápidamente el talento y, a raíz de varios encuentros fortuitos, las galerías parisinas le han abierto sus puertas. Armelle cultivates perfection in her paintings; the harmony of colours, the variety of subjects, the lightness of line that give the works a refined and spiritual dimension. The paintings are beautiful, generous and ever changing. Among the masters who inspire her are Matisse, Paul Cezanne and Francis Desnoyer. Her work of acrylic paint applied with a knife resembles oil painting and allows for the liveliness of her work, the alchemy of warm colours and a harmony in the lightness. The result is modern and always surprisingly new. Armelle prefers to paint the colours of the South and light-filled landscapes. She looks for natural simplicity, and loves space and volume. A passionate Impressionist, colour gives wings to her imagination. Each of her paintings is an explosion of colours spread with a knife.
