Originally from Lille, Diane is one of those people who have always paid special attention to the world around them. Her aim is to understand the organization and functioning of the world, as well as to capture its essence. She has a unique and well-informed view of all the subjects she studies, both in the development of her scientific work and in the production of her works. Diane followed a university career that led her to specialize in human anatomy, particularly through the study of the great apes. At the same time, she founded a theater company, created acrylic and wax paintings and tried her hand at sculpture. Her passion for animal and human morphology will push her to be more and more intensively interested in modeling techniques, which she discovers following a training in live model painting at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 2010, Diane decided to concentrate her know-how in the execution of her creations in volume. "Creating, modeling, shaping, giving meaning to the form by transforming the material: this is her quest..." from modeling made on ceramic, wax or carved in polystyrene, the sculptor designs works in bronze, resin or concrete. Her subjects, treated in a geometrical and stylized way in a resolutely contemporary style, are imbued with a great softness, while giving off an energy that could be qualified as "vitalist".
