I work on creating my own personal artistic language based on my perception of the world.
Originally from Uzbekistan, Dmitry received an education that focused primarily on easle painting at the Art Academy of Benkhov, Tashkent, from which he graduated in 1998. In addition, the young artist has made portraits and many murals. The murals have led him to making decorations for the city for certain official celebrations. That same year, he left his native country with his family to live in Samara, Russia for several years. As a seasoned traveler he also went off to discover Europe, with his easel always by his side, in order to capture the cities and landscapes he travels through. Dmitry fell under the charm of the Mexican lagoons, the rich patrimony of this country and the heat that emanates from its shores and settled into the coastal city of Cancun in 2011. Since then, he has worked hard each day to develop his artistic production and has found it very helpful to be in an environment that lends itself so well to creativity
Using his palette knife and his canvas, Dmitry enjoys interpreting the landscapes around him just as much as he does capturing the scenes of urban and maritime life. The painter mixes bright colours of oil paint and acrylic in order to compose works with a great sense of detail that arouse the viewer, playing with volumes and luminosities in an effort to create a singular atmosphere. Dmitry is influenced both by the masters of Impressionism Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890), Edgar Degas (1834-1917), Edouard Manet (1832-1883), and Alfred Sisley (1839-1899), and by Russian painters from the 19th and 20th centuries and has patiently forged his own visual identity, between realism and expressivity
