Desde su infancia en Roanne (Loira), Fauve dibuja y pinta. Aprendió de forma autodidacta inspirándose en obras de la historia del arte. De adulta, se convierte en secretaria sin abandonar por ello su verdadera pasión. Continuó pintando incluso mientras trabajaba. Empezó con acuarelas y trabajó durante 8 años con Georges Colognon, pintor de Roanne. En 1997, siente la necesidad de trabajar con otros medios (tinta, acrílico, óleo), collage y técnicas mixtas y recibe clases del pintor Georges Roget en "Turne à Mignien", sede de la asociación "Les Amis des Arts de Roanne". En 2000 abandona su actividad asalariada y se dedica por completo a su arte, abriendo el "Estudio Fauve" en Roanne y trasladándolo en 2005 a SaintHaon-le-Châtel (Loira). Deseosa de compartir y transmitir sus conocimientos, Fauve enseña allí pintura.

Fauve builds her works from festive, passionate colours placed on the canvas. She then adds atypical features and forms from her unconscious. She creates landscapes, and fictitious and imaginary female characters. Her creations are passionate, colourful and depict festive atmospheres. The flickering sceneries transmit to the viewer the impression of a gentle and cheerful intoxication. She shares her taste for the pleasures of life and paints scenes of everyday existence. Her characters, almost caricatures, sometimes seem joyful, sometimes nostalgic or melancholic, but never sad. Fauve is inspired by the expressionists Edvard Munch, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Egon Schiele (twentieth century) and Jean Dubuffet (twentieth century), the founder of Outsider Art.
