Originally from Ukraine, Yulia Kochevykh has a degree in decorative and applied arts, and has worked as a restorer at the Kyiv Museum. Now living in France, she devotes herself to plein-air painting, capturing the delicate beauty of the world around her. Each painting is a poetic evocation of a dream, often inspired by cities she has long imagined before visiting. Her approach is marked by gentleness, perseverance and light.

Yulia Kochevykh paints in oils, with great attention to detail and a subtle palette. Her works, both light and refined, reveal urban or natural landscapes, often observed on the motif. She draws her inspiration from art books, especially Van Gogh's letters, and from her own travel dreams. Marked by great tenacity, she sees each canvas as another step on her artistic path. For her, painting is about giving form to hope, transforming desire into light, and inviting everyone to never stop moving forward.
