Nacida en Roche-la-Molière (Francia) el 4 de marzo de 1953, Rose Dalban descubrió el arte a una edad muy temprana. Al encontrarse sola todo el día, dibujar y pintar le permitieron evadirse. A partir de entonces, nunca se aburriría y viajaría constantemente en su imaginación y la magia de los colores. Optó por seguir su vocación, asistiendo naturalmente a la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Saint-Étienne, donde se graduó en 1974. Para ella, no hay nada más apasionante que el espectáculo de la naturaleza y sus obras aspiran a recordarnos que es importante que el hombre cuide el medio ambiente. Así, esta apasionada artista, sitúa indiscutiblemente a la naturaleza como la única verdad en la vida, como en el arte.

Admiring the work of artists such as William Turner and Zao WouKi, Rose is influenced by their designs and shades. However, it is from the power of nature that the artist draws the energy for her painting. She feeds her imagination with long walks in the countryside, where she lives among woods and rivers. She returns inspired, her spirit filled with "beautiful light and rich darkness". Rose creates with emotion, feeling and poetry in a style that she defines as "lyrical abstraction". Vacillating between cool and warm colours, her landscapes express in turns, with dreaminess, the silence of the great outdoors, the power of the elements, the mystery and the pervasiveness of life. Today, her works are done in oil paint on paper for small formats and on linen for large formats.
