Sophie Costa es una artista visual autodidacta que lleva más de 20 años vinculada al mundo del arte. Sophie Costa's work is deeply influenced by the American pop artists of the 60s and 80s, such as Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Her unique technique blends collage and acrylic paint, incorporating everyday objects such as vinyl records, audio cassettes and crayons, which she hunts down and recycles to give them a second life. This upcycling process gives her works a graphic, vintage character, while conveying a message of positivity. Sophie celebrates the beauty of visual associations, whether of color, natural elements or architecture, and encourages us to see the world with an optimistic and vibrant eye.
