Painting is poetry that can be seen. Leonardo da Vinci.
Marion Trébucq is a visual artist trained at the Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Since childhood, creation has been a vital necessity for her, a means of expression and escape. Based in Provence, she draws her inspiration from the beauty of life and the natural world around her. Her sensitive, deeply instinctive work is captivating in its sincerity and depth. Each work seeks above all to establish an emotional bond between artist and viewer.
Marion Trébucq explores a singular technique, akin to bas-relief, combining plaster and pigments. She first sculpts the subject in relief, then applies color, giving her works a vibrant, tactile dimension. Inspired by Egon Schiele, Francis Bacon and Anselm Kiefer, she asserts a stylistic freedom between sensitive figuration and expressive matter. Curious and constantly seeking to experiment, she has long incorporated elements such as wood and metal into her canvases. Her universe, rooted in nature, questions emotion, memory and trace.
