Carré d’artistes made me want to get back to painting.
Today, it has been 8 years that I work with this gallery network.
I could exhibit my work in France and abroad, with small and large formats.
Thanks to Carré d’artistes’ network, our artworks travel and decorate walls; our name is more well-known.
This experience is constructive; it makes me move forward and improve over the years.

HOW IS YOUR PARTNERSHIP WITH CARRE D’ARTISTES ON A DAILY BASIS?
I’m lucky to live close to the headquarters, in Aix-en-Provence, which allows me to get to know the people I work with better, for a closer and less virtual collaboration.
I’m of those who like human interaction.
DESCRIBE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH CARRÉ D’ARTISTES
The 3 words that best describe my experience with Carré d’artistes are:
Improvement, Discovery and Support.
The event that marked me the most since working with Carré d’artistes is my exhibition in Arizona, in Sedona gallery in March 2017.
I didn’t have a lot of experience abroad: I had never travelled this far and it was really complicated for me who doesn’t speak a word of English!
Fortunately, I had an interpreter by my side, and all went very well, with some pretty funny discussions.
I noticed that in America, relationships are a lot more open and their curiosity is really pleasant. The atmosphere is definitely very warm and friendly.
Without Carré d’artistes, I never would have discovered the American soil.
Portrait of Albert Le DIUZET
From Brittany on his father’s side and Dunkirk on his mother’s, Albert was born in the free zone of Allier, where his parents had fled during the war to escape the hell of Dunkirk.
The artist in him came out at 16 when he received his first guitar and paintbrushes.
He attended the School of Fine Arts and became a civil engineering draftsman, an advertising designer, a photographer, a singer and a songwriter.
For several years he devoted himself to interpreting his musical compositions, but tired by this hectic life, he eventually settled down in southern France, where he isolated himself from the crazy world he had known and devoted himself to painting.
