Painting May shower in the mountains by Khodakivskyi Vasily | Painting Figurative Urban Oil

As a young man Vasyl loved to draw and to paint and wanted above all else to learn visual skills and techniques. His perseverance was rewarded in 1986 when his application was accepted at the Art Academy of Kiev - known today as the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture - in the painting and monumental painting department. Vasyl graduated in 1992 after spending six years acquiring knowledge and learning fundamental theories in art. He began his profession and that same year he became a member of the National Union of artists of the Ukraine. A former professor in painting and drawing at the university, Vasyl now prefers to share his knowledge and experience through private lessons, which he gives to small groups.
