Sophie-Kim has always had a passion for painting and drawing. She took drawing lessons and trained in the plastic arts from a very young age. She then turned to architecture, a field in which she worked for several years. However, her ever-increasing desire to create finally pushed her to fully embark on an artistic career. Since 2014, she participates in various exhibitions in her region and shares her knowledge during painting and drawing classes.

Sophie-Kim is a trained architect who uses acrylic to paint urban landscapes and architectural details. She plays with colour and perspective to bring us a unique and original take on Lyon, which she's painted countless times, alongside other cities such as Mâcon, New York or San Francisco and countries including Vietnam, India, Cuba and New Zealand. The painter has an eye for detail and pays a lot of attention to the framing to put an architectural spin on her work. Her canvases are inspired by her travels and whisk audiences away from it all.
