Description artwork

This unique and original contemporary artwork "Rivage #6" was created by contemporary artist Settimia Taroux.
The artist mixed acrylic paint and textile art to create this large-format landscape that suggests a calm shoreline under the moonlight. The 4 cm-thick canvas lends the work a beautiful presence on the wall, and the texture of the fabrics offers slightly changing effects depending on the light and point of view. The fabrics used are recycled pantyhose, and the paint base is biosourced.

Settimia Taroux flag_frFrance
A talented and atypical designer, Settimia discovered her artistic side at an early age. As a child, she admired the illustrations in her storybooks and was already dreaming of creating her own images. She soon took up drawing and painting, attending a series of courses and workshops before naturally turning to art studies. Surrounded by her family's love of sewing and embroidery, she found her own style by combining her passions for traditional painting and textile arts. Today, Settimia exhibits regularly throughout France.
