Having traveled extensively and always created with her hands from an early age, Agnès K. naturally turned to artistic training. After training as a DPLG architect and a few years' experience, the need to create with her hands really took hold, and it was to the creation of original picture frames, unique pieces, that she first turned.
It was during these years that Agnès developed a passion for wood, which over time took over from everything else, and today she happily carves it.

Each piece of wood reflects a life, an incredible and unsuspected experience. Like a diamond in the rough that needs to be polished and faceted to give it its sparkle, it only needs to be adorned in its finest finery to shine and reveal its splendor.
Agnès K.'s work in wood is resolutely contemporary and timeless. She attaches particular importance to the play of light, contrasts and shadows, which give relief and depth to her pieces. It is thanks to this light that the work fully expresses itself and takes on its full dimension.
In her studio near Aix-en-Provence, bathed in light, Agnès K. creates works of astonishing lightness and poetry, in which wood is sublimated; like a living, natural painting, her sculptures invite us to daydream and meditate.
