Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you do, you will succeed.
Simon, aka CMON, has always been attracted to art and, in general, to everything that calls for creativity. He is interested in art, culture, music, cooking... This quest for creativity will pursue him throughout his career. Indeed, after a training in the field of fashion, he reoriented himself towards the custom motorcycle. After a few years as a mechanic and custom motorcycle preparer, the covid and the confinement have reason of his activity. Having always drawn, and used drawing in all his projects (motorcycles, tattoos, clothing brand...), C-MON takes advantage of this turning point in his life to launch himself fully into painting and make it his activity.
Very attached to the hip-hop, urban and popular culture, C-MON makes it his main source of inspiration. The painter works mainly with spray paint and paint pens, tools commonly used in urban art and graffiti. C-MON also uses, for some projects, epoxy resin or uses new technologies with a CNC machine or a 3D printer. Inspired by characters and references of popular culture, the artist gives life to colorful, pop and original creations, where we find strongly the influence of street-art. Creation is a way for C-MON to express his emotions, his memories and his feelings.
