I translate my vision of the world
Sandrine Hirson, born in Saint-Quentin in 1968, is a self-taught artist whose passion for painting emerged in the mid-90s. Far from conventions, she is captivated by lyrical abstraction, where color becomes her intimate language, going beyond simple motifs to reveal deep emotions. Since her first exhibition in 2001, she has explored abstraction as a personal quest, each canvas a unique journey into the soul, inviting the viewer to plunge into a visual universe where every gesture becomes a confession.
Sandrine Hirson's inspiration is rooted in abstraction, nourished by the influence of masters such as Zao Wou-Ki, Jean Miotte and Nicolas De Stael. Her work is an intense emotional exploration, where each color and form becomes a bridge between the real and the imaginary. Using oils and painting knives, she sculpts vibrant compositions in search of profound harmony and sensual fluidity. Far from being a mere vision, her art is an invitation to feel, to be surprised and to immerse oneself in a unique sensory universe. It's a call to let go, to reconnect with our own emotions and see beyond appearances.
