Jamie Kivisto is an American artist based in the Arizona desert. Her career began on the beaches of Venice Beach, where she sold her first canvases after studying art in Cincinnati. Self-taught to the core, she sees painting as a visual diary, a mirror of her inner transformations. Her work blends resilience, spirituality and connection to nature. Each work is a living, intuitive exploration rooted in human experience.

Jamie Kivisto works on wood in successive layers: a bright base (orange, pink), over which paint, collage and spray cans are superimposed. She combines her love of nature with urban textures, in a style that oscillates between abstraction and figuration. Inspired by street art, murals and the aesthetics of Blaine Fontana, she lets her backgrounds evolve freely, then discovers an unexpected subject. Her approach celebrates the beauty of renewal, the power of life and the richness of the visible and invisible strata that shape everything.
