Leilani is a Polish artist based in Copenhagen, driven by a deep passion for light, the beauty of everyday life and the poetry of places. A graduate in painting and artistic glass, she is constantly exploring new avenues, refusing to lock herself into a single style. Her painting is a gesture of love and tenderness for the city that welcomed her. With each canvas, she seeks to convey a sincere emotion, a suspended moment, a soft light - like a happy memory that we hang up at home so we never forget it.
Leilani paints with acrylics, in an impressionist vein nourished by light, movement and fleeting sensations. Inspired by Monet and Sargent, she favors emotion over precision, recreating atmosphere rather than detail. The colors she chooses, sometimes deliberately altered, make her scenes more vivid than life. She works from her memories, from photos taken on the spot and from open-air sessions in the streets of Copenhagen. Her paintings are a declaration of love to the city and the simple, slow, luminous life it embodies - an ode to the everyday, without cynicism, full of joy and gratitude.
