I have been painting for 40 years, a virus in sum, but this one conveys many joys and benefits!

For several years now, Lyn has been making her home in the south of France, close to the commune of Le Brusc, a small, unspoilt, wildly beautiful corner of the seaside. An only child, Lyn has been immersed in an imaginary world since childhood, and as far back as she can remember, she remembers herself, pencil in hand, drawing on everything from school notebooks to the walls of her bedroom... It was during one of her father's military postings that she discovered painting in Morêt-sur-Loing, the birthplace of Impressionism. She was six years old at the time, and knew right from the start that she would become a painter.

A self-taught painter, she's caught the art bug! The artist creates by day, and gets up at night to erase until the result suits her. After a succession of exhibitions and awards, Lyn opened a small community gallery. The elements of nature - earth, air and water - are her main source of inspiration, moments of life sublimated by color. Her oil work is quickly brushed onto the canvas without prior sketching, and is most often enhanced with a knife. In front of the canvas, her imagination turns to travel, poetry and dreams. She gives free rein to her creativity, always referring to nature. This can take the form of figurative or abstract work. She has the immense satisfaction of seeing her work travel the world and, in a modest way, spreading the word about the beautiful landscapes of Provence.
