I've always enjoyed exploring space physically, through movement and sport, as much as on paper and canvas. I approach both practices as a meditative, exploratory process, both of the world and of myself.
I turned to architecture for my studies, and after a ten-year career, it was time to answer the call of painting and life in the mountains.
I explore mountain landscapes and nature in general, both for their beauty, and as symbols and metaphors for our human experience.
I turned to architecture for my studies, and after a ten-year career, it was time to answer the call of painting and life in the mountains.
I explore mountain landscapes and nature in general, both for their beauty, and as symbols and metaphors for our human experience.
I draw inspiration from my experiences in the mountains, my travels and the beauty of natural landscapes to create my paintings, which are both figurative and abstract in their free approach to color.
My technique combines acrylic and spray painting with marker drawing in a unique and original style.
The graphic expression of my signature line is inspired by engraving and printmaking techniques, in particular Japanese prints by masters such as Hokusai. The serene, meditative atmosphere is an invitation to an inner journey.
